    • ¼ Cup
    • 2 OZ
    • 1½ OZ 
    • Apple butter store-bought or homemade
    • Aromatic bitters or orange bitter
    • Apple cider
    • Good quality bourbon
    • Club soda
    • Coarse sugar optional, for rim
    • Apple slices and cinnamon stick optional, for garnish
  • Directions

    1. Place apple butter, bitters, apple cider, and bourbon in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously to combine.
      2 tablespoons apple butter, 2 dashes aromatic bitters, ¼ cup apple cider, 2 ounces good quality bourbon
    2. Rim your glass with sugar and fill with ice.
      Coarse sugar
    3. Pour apple butter mixture over ice and top with club soda.
    4. Serve garnished with apple slices and cinnamon stick.
