Made with just a few simple ingredients, the lavender latte is easy to make at home and can be customized to your liking. Lavender has a subtle, floral taste that is slightly sweet. The honey flavor of the latte is also pretty strong in our latte recipe. It is rich and has a great vanilla essence.

  • Ingredients

    1 OZ - Espresso
    ½ Cup - Hot milk
    ½ Cup - Hot water
    ½ Tbsp - Honey
1 Tbsp - Dried lavender, culinary grade

  • Directions

    1. Add the lavender to the hot water in a small bowl and let steep for about 10 minutes. Strain the lavender and pour the lavender flavored water into a mug.
    2. Stir the honey into the warm lavender water.
    3. Add the espresso to the glass and stir.
    4. Use a frother to foam the hot milk then pour it into the mug.

Tip: If you can’t find culinary grade lavender, replace it with a tablespoon of lavender flavored coffee syrup. You may want to omit the honey since the lavender syrup is quite sweet.
